College History


Founded in 1997, the College has been at the forefront of tertiary education for 10 years and has quickly earned a worldwide reputation for excellence. As we celebrate our 10th year anniversary there is much to experience, celebrate, record and collect.

Our founder Dr. O.O. Phillips had the vision to give the education system a rebirth by setting unique but necessary standards that would reflect the ability of the children and the potential for the future. With earnest motivation and immense support from the community, the name DCL soon became synonymous with greatness.

Numbers grew so much that the College had to expand and today highly developed and greatly luxurious facilities are enjoyed by the College community of the 21st century.

We retain a great respect for the history and make every effort to honour the hearts of the founders who selflessly invested in the future of our children

To recognize, develop, direct and release the untapped leader within every child that walks through our doors. This will be accomplished by maximizing the true potential of each student and endorsing the discovery of their personal purpose and destiny.   Simply we want every Dowen Child TO BE THE BEST that they can be.
